On March 22nd, following an invitation by the business networking group BNI, Acompalia attended the 6.30 am Breakfast Business Club in the Elba Motril, their weekly session being on that day dedicated to Well-being and Health.
In March, secretary of Acompalia had the opportunity to participate in the course “Developping a Volunteer Plan” given by the Granada Volunteering Platform. This Platform offers support, information about different subjects and free courses on volunteering to not-for-profit organisations in the province.
Teaming is a quick, easy and safe way for you to support Acompalia, one shiny euro at a time. It’s a wonderful way for you to show your support for our lovely not-for-profit as we try to reach this year’s fundraising goal of €25,000.
Acompalia was invited to a special event hosted by the British Consulate in Torre del Mar on 7th March 2018. Different organisations, including Acompalia, providing welfare services to British nationals were invited to the Hospital of La Axarquía, in Torre del Mar, where we had the pleasure of meeting Charmaine Arbouin, the British Consul for Andalusia and Neil Hesketh of the University of Birmingham.

It is with much regret that Acompalia is forced to announce the postponement of this year’s Golf Tournament scheduled for May 11th. We hope to rearrange for the Autumn.
We had two cool bands play for the closing night, Xian-Ra! and Wazifa. The vibe was rocking – loads of visitors, performances, people drawing the aerialists and the last of the art lovers digesting the art on offer. With the year drawing to a close, the Acompalia Board met for the last time this year, on December 19th 2017, in order to review accomplishments achieved during the past twelve months and prepare for the year to come.
