We had two cool bands play for the closing night, Xian-Ra! and Wazifa. The vibe was rocking – loads of visitors, performances, people drawing the aerialists and the last of the art lovers digesting the art on offer. The 3rd evening of music and art in aid of Acompalia at the 19th century Sugar factory in Motril. There was another great turn out of art lovers and artists and we all enjoyed the beautiful classical music provided by the Chamber Players.
Fernando Gallegos Cabrera – singer and Acompalia long-time supporter- with Pepe Luis Habichuela Carmona – Internationally renown Flamenco Singer and Acompalia Patron.
Contemporary art and good music is an excellent combination for an evening out and Fernando did not disappoint! His voice echoed effortlessly around the enormous exhibition hall, his beautiful singing and guitar playing filled the air, as more than 100 guests browsed the art. See the video!

A Multi Media Art Happening
London, NewYork, Paris, Motril – Even if I do say so myself, the inauguration was a roaring success. It was just the type of event that I like to be at. It was more than just a gallery opening, there was something happening everywhere you looked. My friend Paul said, “It’s like being at one of those Manhattan fashion shows that I used to go to.”
Honza is a keen supporter of Acompalia offering his time and expertise in the IT department. He is also the one behind Acompalia’s Web development. In his spare time, when not geeking away in the solitary confinement of his windowless office, he runs up and down the mountains of Vélez de Benaudalla.

October 18th may be remembered by many as one of the rainiest day post summer in Andalusia, while we at Acompalia will remember that special day as a fundraising success.

Musicians, Toni Connolly and Luis Gomez will be playing live acid jazz, as graceful circus performers twirl from the ceiling.

Acompalia Artistica launches art exhibition at La Azucarera, Motril.
Reformed sugar factory hosts charity exhibition to fundraise for palliative care.
Acompalia Artistica, an art collective that fundraises for Acompalia (http://www.acompalia.org) – a provider of palliative care in Granada province and the Costa Tropical – is launching an art exhibition at the reformed La Azucarera sugar factory at Pilar, Motril. The exhibition commences on Saturday 25 November with an opening event inaugurated by the dignitaries of Motril, and then runs until 16 December 2017. Opening hours for the duration of the exhibition are 7pm until 10pm Wednesday to Saturday.
