The 3rd evening of music and art in aid of Acompalia at the 19th century Sugar factory in Motril. There was another great turn out of art lovers and artists and we all enjoyed the beautiful classical music provided by the Chamber Players.
Acompalia Artistica leader and event organiser Emma Plunkett said, “This has been the best event I have ever organised, I’ve really enjoyed it. The classical music and aerial performers added such a magnificent dimension to the exhibition, especially with the audience participation in drawing the performers. I want to organise more events in this style in the future.”
You can read about Nick Tasker from the Chamber Players, and his hand made harpsichord, on the musicians pages.
Here is a video that Emma made to give you an idea of the atmosphere of this event and also to introduce you to some of the artworks in more detail. Please pause the video if there is anything you want to study further. You can also look up all the participating artists on this page and contact them if you wish to purchase their art. Artists will be giving 10% of all sales, that happen as a result of the exhibition, to Acompalia.
